This 14-Day break gives you a flavour of the Italian culture across its regions for the single tourist, sit back relax and enjoy!

Day 1 – Door-to-door departure. Onto northern France for an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Italy. To the Como area for an overnight stay. B

Day 3 – To Pisa (included). See the famous leaning tower and take an optional sightseeing tour. Overnight stay in Montecatini. B,D

Day 4 – To the Sorrento (included) Peninsula for a 7-night stay. B,D

Day 5 – Sorrento. Wander the narrow streets and harbour, browse for souvenirs or sit back and relax with a traditional Italian pastry and cappucino. B,D

Day 6 – Sorrento and Coastal Villages (included). We drive through the hills, valleys, and terraces, lined with citrus, olive and vine plantations, that descend towards the sea. B,D

Day 7 – Pompeii (optional). Destroyed by the erupting Vesuvius in AD79, learn about the last days of Pompeii and its people. B,D

Day 8 – Isle of Capri (optional). Visit the Mediterranean hideaway that is home to many of the rich and famous. Sail across the Bay of Naples and enjoy the island’s clifftop views, with Mount Vesuvius in the distance. B,D

Day 9 – Amalfi Drive (included). ‘The most spectacular road in Europe’! See the lovely cathedral and the hillside town of Ravello – 350 metres above sea level. B,D

Day 10 – Countryside Tour (optional). A half-day countryside tour of the mountains, visiting a local cheese factory to see how mozzarella is made. B,D

Day 11 – To Rome (included). Explore palaces and piazzas of the Roman Empire’s former capital, such as the Vatican, St. Peter’s Cathedral, the Sistine Chapel and the Piazza Venezia. Opt for our optional guided sightseeing tour and see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum! Onto Chianciano Terme for an overnight stay. B,D

Day 12 – To Vipiteno (included). This modern shopping haven is rich in history and tradition, featuring a host of historical monuments, cultural delights and natural beauty. To Austria for an overnight stay. B,D

Day 13 – To Belgium for an overnight stay. B

Day 14 – To Calais and return home via our door-to-door service. B

For the duration of your holiday you will have sole use of your own room.

Stay for 7 nights at the family-run 3-star Hotel Mary in Vico Equense, just 15 minutes’ drive from Sorrento town with lift, outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing terrace, restaurant, bar and lounge.
