7-Day Break

Day 1 – Fly to Rome and transfer to Sant’ Agnello di Sorrento for a four-night stay. Early flight arrivals, will spend time in Frascati, before transfer to hotel.

Day 2 - 4 – Relax and enjoy some free time in the resort of Sorrento with its smart shops, superb cliff scenery, a delightful harbour area, friendly locals and great food and drink. Take a break from sunbathing and sip a coffee or Limoncello. To see more of the area, join our fabulous excursion programme. 3xB,3xD

• Isle of Capri (optional). Sail across the Bay of Naples to the Isle of Capri, where Gracie Fields once lived. In the company of a guide, we explore this picturesque island with its whitewashed houses, colourful gardens, cafés and intriguing alleyways.

• Pompeii and Vesuvius (optional). Accompanied by a guide, discover the history and life of the great Roman city ofPompeii, buried in the eruption of 79AD. We also drive to the top of Mount Vesuvius, which commands spectacularviews. You can walk the final 1,000 metres to the summit to view inside the crater. (a local charge of approximately €6.50 is at extra cost.

• Amalfi Drive (optional). The ‘Amalfi Drive’ is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe. From Sorrento, the cliff-toproad offers stunning panoramic views at every bend. We make a stop at Amalfi, which gives its name to this whole beautiful coast. The hillside is dominated by the Cathedral, which stands regally at the top of a great flight of steps leading up from the main square. From Amalfi we visit Ravello, which nestles in the hillside above the sea.

Day 5 – Montecassino (Included). We leave Sorrento and head to Montecassino, then onto to Fiuggi, for a two-night stay. B

Day 6 – RomeWith Guided Sightseeing (included). The eternal city of Rome evokes a unique, colourful atmosphere, built on its ancient Roman past. Our guided sightseeing tour by coach and on foot will introduce the city’s wonderful sights, including the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. B
